Hiking in Howth | Our Beautiful Home

Posted on

We recently had our summer staff day out, and this year we decided to mix things up and go on a hike! When we were deciding where to go, we thought it would be nice to hike around our local area and appreciate it’s unspoiled beauty. Sometimes we take things for granted when they are so readily available to us, so it’s good to take a step back once in a while and be inspired.

We linked up with ‘Shane’s Howth Hikes’ who took us on a very fun 11km hike around Howth. Shane took us through woodland areas, across beaches, into caves and showed us some of the best viewing points. The views of Dublin city and its surrounding areas were stunning, and made us appreciate the beauty we have right on our doorstep. We’re sharing some of our shots that one of our team took to give you an insight into our local area and where some of our inspiration comes from.

When Irelands Eye Knitwear started out, it was very much a family business – and that’s even more true today! To date, no less than a grandfather, father, mother, three brothers, two sisters and eight grandchildren have been involved with the company.
